The scheme focus was the architectural and acoustic design of the new conference hall and new ball room. The key aim was the functional flexibility, as both areas had to be capable of acting as multipurpose facilities, in order to extend Miramare’s range of activities hosted throughout the year.

The project’s highlights are the ballroom’s ability to operate in both the long and short seating setup due to its integrated dynamic stage and the conference hall’s ability to host either large scale conference or two or three simultaneous lecture events without acoustic intrusion between them.
