Being amongst the top holiday complexes in Elounda, the Miramare Resort and Spa, is located in one of the west hills of Mirabello bay, over Gargadoros beach.
The scheme focus was the architectural and acoustic design of the new conference hall and new ball room. The key aim was the functional flexibility, as –apart from their dedicated functions- both areas had to be capable of acting as multipurpose facilities, in order to extend Miramare’s range of activities hosted throughout the year.
The project’s highlights are the ballroom’s ability to operate in both the long and short seating setup due to its integrated dynamic stage and the conference hall’s ability to host either large scale conference or two or three simultaneous lecture events without acoustic intrusion between them.
