The Municipal Theatre of Nicosia is one of the most iconic buildings of the Greek and Cypriot architectural history. The building reestablished its identity and presence in the city after 11 of “silence” in a twofold manner:
Amongst our acoustic design aims, a new acoustic shell is also introduced. Symphonic orchestra music can now be hosted for the first time since the theatres’s birth, while the preserved neoclassical canopy “whispers” its story.
